The first leg of the journey is complete! I left at 10:55 this morning, and I’m now in Montreal. We went on the smallest plane I’ve ever been on. There were 18 seats total, two rows of 9. One plus side – everyone has both an aisle seat and a window seat no matter where you are. It was an extremely quick flight, as expected.
I have a flight at 6:45 from here to London. I don’t mind the layover at all. I like airports. Strangely enough, I feel like time has been going by fast. That could partially be because I spent half an hour walking back and forth choosing somewhere to eat, and all in all I’ve eaten about 4 different meals… Or because I’ve already gone to the bathroom twice, each time having to pack up both my bags and take them with me (that’s one bad thing about being in the airport alone.) In any case, if nothing else, airports are good for people watching.
I can’t believe I’m going to be in London tomorrow morning! Even though my travels have already begun, it still hasn’t quite sunk in. I’m hoping I’ll be able to sleep on the plane, since by the time I arrive, it will be 2:30 A.M. our time.
Know exactly what you mean by a small plane–scary!! Glad you enjoyed the airport and people watching Enjoy London Love Grandma
